It includes records of the Committee for Industrial Technologies which gave advice to senior executives in industry on the latest technology, the Asset Management Group which gave advice on technology practice, the British Materials Handling Board which gave advice on best practice in materials handling and the Manufacturing Advisory Service - a consultancy service run by the Production Engineering Research Association (PERA) with Department of Industry assistance to advise companies on production techniques.
