Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have considered payment of militia, officers and soldiers in Argyllshire; before money is issued, Duke [of Cumberland] should judge if troops will be useful for suppressing [Jacobite] rebellion. Requests details of any treaties with Morocco made by Mr Sollicoffre, in relation to privateer stranded on Barbary coast. Endorsement states copy of letter sent to Duke of Cumberland on 22 February 1746. Dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex].
