Folio 134. 'A Copy Revised and Compared by J Hopwood'. Information of Robert Hopwood, doctor and 'Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London' from Manchester, Lancashire. Information against Dr Thomas Deacon, 'a strict nonjuror'. Before rebels [Jacobites] came to Manchester, Deacon told Hopwood he was 'obliged' to 'the Prince' [Charles Edward Stuart]. Sworn before Justices of the Peace William Horton, Thomas Percivall and Robert Entwisle. Dated at Manchester.
