Folio 126. [Lord Clare] to Count Fitzjames. Lord Clare acknowledges Count Fitzjames's last letter and wishes him a good recovery. Has forwarded Captains Bachelier and Le Moine's report and memoir to Messieurs de Soissons and d'Argenson and will forward it to Messieurs Barthe and Charon [Charron]. He believes that the court intends to send some help in Scotland. Dated at Dunkirk [France], 24 February 1746 [NS].
