Folios 66-67. Comte de Fitzjames to Lord Clare. Questions about sailing conditions (winds) from Ostend [Belgium, Flemish region]. Seals. With answer of Messieurs Bart [Barthe] and Charron, assuring that all that Fitzjames says is true and that it is possible for the ships to sail, as required by Fitzjames; dated 16 February 1746 [NS]. With answer of Lord Clare to Comte de Fitzjames concerning the preceding letters and saying that the conditions were in fact not good enough for the ships to sail; dated 17 February 1746 [NS].
