Folios 11-12. Major General Henry Pulteney to [Newcastle]. 153 rebel [Jacobite] prisoners brought to Hull [Yorkshire]. 'Rotten Prison' in town cannot be repaired until judges reach a decision about who should pay for it. Governor's old house could hold prisoners if Board of Ordnance installs locks, bolts and doors. Prisoners will not be secure if Duke of Ancaster's regiment leaves Hull.
