Folios 88-89. Gwynn Vaughan [to unknown] relating to an unsuccessful search for [Jacobite?] arms held at 'popish [Roman Catholic] schools or seminaries', and rejecting 'unkind' accusation of 'want of zeal' in the undertaking. Enclosing:
Folio 89. Affidavit of Lieutenant Joseph Holman, of St Giles [London, Middlesex] describing a search for weapons mounted in 'the Nunnery', Hammersmith [Middlesex]; the house of Patrick Canton, Blind Lane; house of Thomas Plunkett. Search supervised by deputy lieutenant for Middlesex Gwynn Vaughan and Thomas Burdus.
