[Jacobite prisoner] G [George] Lockhart [of Cornwarth, who lived at Dryden, Selkirkshire] [to unknown] asking that it be noted that [around the time of Prestonpans], 'I stayed 13 days out of Edinburgh in the most retired manner before I came to Berwick [upon Tweed, Northumberland, Berwickshire]. Asks to be allowed visitors, and that 'Mr Money give me a little air, in a coach or on foot'. Dated at London.
