Folios 23-24. Information of John Philips [Phillips] against [Roman Catholic] priests [Nathaniel Elliot, alias] Sheldon 'Superiour of the English Colledge of Jesuits at Rome', and [Robert] Gordon. Sheldon now lives at Mr Gay's in Little Wild Street near Drury Lane [London, Middlesex]. Robert Gordon, a spy, and 'father confessor to the [Jacobite] Duke of Perth', is now at Mr Bruce's, a tailor, in Eagle St [London, Middlesex] near Red Lion Square. Mentions meeting [Charles Edward Stuart], in company with the two priests and Giles Jones, in the gardens of the Palace of Borghese in Rome [Italy]. Witnessed by E [Edward?] Weston. Dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex].
