This series contains a record of all wholesale sales of Museum publications. Most sales are to bookshops and other agents, though some are to named individuals or to 'Stranger'. Many sales were to a Museum messenger, who was personally responsible for sales to Museum visitors until the bookstall was set up in 1921.
