To: The General Board of Health.
From: W Smythe, Secretary, Board of Supervision for Relief of the Poor, Edinburgh.
Subject Matter: Letter reporting two fatal cases of cholera in Edinburgh and asking for copies of instructions and regulations on prevention of the disease. He encloses a telegram from Dr Stark confirming three cases of cholera in West Port, Edinburgh, and the two deaths.
