From: H Waddington, Whitehall.
Subject Matter: Letter directed by Viscount Palmerston enclosing letter from James Weaire, a tailor from Edenbridge, Kent. He reports on the sewage, mainly from the large house of Mr Arnold, a solicitor, running in the main street of the village. There has been an outbreak of scarlet fever. He asks for an inspector to visit and report on the situation.
