Folio 133.
To: George F Collier, 32 Spring Gardens, London.
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter informing Collier that a letter from him dated 30 December 1852, recommending his son for employment under the General Board of Health, has been submitted to the Board by Sir William Molesworth. Collier is advised that his son's name has been registered for favourable consideration in the even of any vacancy arising in the office of the Board. He is further advised that in the two years to which his letter refers, no new appointments have been made by the Board; that there is no present probability that a vacancy will occur in the office, and that it is still less probable that the existing staff of the office will be increased.
