Subject Matter: Letter calling attention to a communication sent two years ago to William Molesworth, recommending his son, John Jackson Collier, for employment under the General Board of Health. Collier enquires whether the recommendation made by his friend, Richard Owen, is to be carried out. He explains that Lord Seymour previously offered his son employment in 'the [office of the Commissioners of] woods and forests', but that he had expressed a wish to dedicate his service to public health.
