To: The General Board of Health.
From: William Noel Sainsbury, State Paper Office, Duke Street, Westminster, London.
Subject Matter: Letter calling attention to the Board's letter of the 25 September 1850, acknowledging the receipt of his application for appointment under the Metropolitan Interments Act and of four accompanying testimonials. Sainsbury requests the return of the original testimonials. Copies of the same are enclosed herewith. He requests to be informed whether his application is to be favourably entertained.
[Folio 123 is a draft letter from the General Board of Health, acknowledging receipt of Sainsbury's letter of 10 January 1853 and returning the original testimonials as requested. He is informed that the Metropolitan Interment Act was repealed in the last Session of Parliament].
