To: The General Board of Health.
From: Robert Bulgin, Cheltenham [Gloucestershire].
Subject Matter: Letter calling attention to his application for an appointment under the provisions of the Metropolitan Interments Act and to the Board's letter of 24 October 1851. Bulgin notes that the Act in question has since been repealed. He assures the Board that he is nevertheless just as keen to secure a 'confidential engagement' immediately in connection with the General Board of Health. Bulgin enquires whether the Board contemplate the revival of, either wholly or in part, their scheme of 'extramural sepulture'.
