Folios 497-498.

To: The Local Government Act Office.

From: Reverend W St Aubyn, Rector, Stoke Fleming [Kingsbridge, Devon].

Subject Matter: Letter enclosing a copy of letter from Mr Damage, asking for an extension to the time for calling a meeting to discuss the recommendation of the inspector in reference to the water supply in Stoke flaming. The churchwardens have stated they will have nothing to do with the matter. However, if the meeting is called it is likely the work would be carried out with the consent of the parishioners.
