Folios 1-2.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: George Turner, Gourock, Innerkip, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 2 January 1849. Turner explains that as cholera is 'extending very much in this quarter', the Parochial Board of Gourock are 'most anxious to do all in their power to remove everything tending to its increase'. He requests the General Board's opinion on the report he sent previously.
