To: G B Lloyd, Futroy and Company, 11 and 12 Beak Street, Golden Square, London.
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter of the 2 September. In reply the Board states that they do not advise the Board of Guardians to take proceedings in the case of noxious trades in consequence of the decision in the case of Jewell and Etwall, and they advise Lloyd to consider whether the provisions under the Smoke Act will meet the case.
