Folios 31-32.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: G B Lloyd, Futroy and Company, 11 and 12 Beak Street, Golden Square, London.
Subject Matter: Letter complaining of a foul smell from a nuisance arising from numerous carts and cabs stopping at Lloyd's warehouse. Lloyd states that a great quantity of water comes from the horses and lodges in a gutter which seeps into the broken paving at the entrance of his warehouse. He says that this is a great danger to his employees and has applied to the Clerk of the Commissioners to repair the road but no notice has been taken and he therefore now asks the Board for their intervention in this matter.
