Folio 71. Copy of letter from Colyn [Colin] Mackenzie to Lord Cromertie. Mackenzie criticises insinuations made against his 'famous brother parson', and the 'villains' making 'new dust'; gives approval for his letter to Sir John [Gordon] to be made public; and promise, if needs be, to 'set people in their true colours and truth on a sure foundation'. Endorsement says he's willing to come to London. Dated at Fodderty [Ross and Cromarty].
