Captain Stratford Eyre to Duke [of Newcastle], concerning prisoners in Tilbury Fort [Essex] and those held onboard the transports anchored there, sent with a list of those prisoners selected by lot to be sent for trial, and also 'a return of those sent hither in the [vessel] Furnace' [not filed here]. All but one of the other prisoners has signed a petition for the King's mercy. Dated at Gravesend [Kent]. Enclosing:
