John Sharpe to [Andrew] Stone, with an enclosed letter [note filed here] from Mr [William] Kingsley to Lieutenant General [Adam] Williamson, forwarded to him by [John?] Chatfield the undersheriff in Surrey, [concerning improvements to the guard room at New Gaol, Southwark]. Also encloses two documents from Barbados [not filed here]; one an address to the King from the members of the Assembly of Barbados, the second a letter relating to the refusal of Sir Thomas Robinson [Governor of Barbados] to let the Assembly sit. Also informing Stone that [Major Nicholas?] Glascoe [Glasgow?] could subpoena the Duke of Newcastle, Lord Harrington, Lord Granville, and General Wade as witnesses in his trial, mentioning the 'cartel' [of Frankfurt, on the treatment of foreign prisoners of war?].
