Charles Bog to Reverend John McInnes, Minister of the Gospel at Crathie, care of Alexr [Alexander] Small, surgeon, George Street, York Buildings, London, concerning the state of affairs in Crathie [Aberdeenshire] and Braemar [Aberdeenshire]. Explains that since the garrisons left Deeside, those who had gone into hiding have returned and priests are preaching and performing baptisms, believing they won't be dealt with. Hopes McInnes will return soon with Baron Reid to deal with them. Also requesting any information relating to James, son of John Ferguson in?Turnahaish. Dated at?Glengorden.
