Folio 50. Petition of George Fryer to [Duke of Newcastle] for the return of 20 cases of cutlasses ordered from Mr Harvey of Birmingham, seized by the government from the Saracens Head Inn [on Snow Hill, London, Middlesex] during the [Jacobite] Rebellion, and stored in the Tower [of London, London]. The swords are 'a most necessary article in all Guinea cargoes, many thousands being annually sent to Africa', and Fryer's ship the Glascow is ready to set sail.
