Folio 134. Petition of Wm [William] Wreathocke [alias William White], of Campveer, Zealand, [Dutch Republic], to Lord Chancellor Hardwicke, seeking consideration for his service in despatching intelligence from Ostend, Dunkirk and Boulogne [France], to the Duke of Newcastle, during the [Jacobite] rebellion. [Inferred date of petition: May 1747]. Filed with:

Folio 135. Schedule of 7 letters, dated during 1745 & 1746, containing intelligence of ships, men and arms, mentioning: Mr Howard of Campveer; De Vat; De'Clerk; Brewer; Steward; Monsieur Savoige of the Admiralty in Ostend; Irishman and burgher master McKay; 'some great man' landed by Captain Bettey and Mr Kelly; 'the Pretender's Youngest son' [Henry Benedict Stuart] at Boulogne and at Madam Harvey's in Dunkirk; the regiments of Lally, Ruth and Lord FitzJames, and the Irish Brigade.
