Folio 20-23. Sir Walter Parker to [Duke of Newcastle]. Dated at Ratton [Sussex]. Enclosing:
Folio 21. Examinations Robert Yarde, gentleman of City of London, who landed at East Borne Stade [Eastbourne] on a Dutch ship out of Boulogne, France, swearing he'd been 3 years at the Academy at Caen.
Folio 21. Examination of St John Bauchard [signs iean Bouchar], 'servant to the said Mr John Yarde' [sic] verifying the above.
Folio 21. Examination of Cornelius Mynihi [signs Mynihan], of 'the Irish Nation', a tailor, with a passport signed 'de Tressan', swore he'd been six years in Paris to 'improve himself in his trade'. Dated in Ratton.
