Affidavit sworn on behalf of Robert Randall, surgeon, by Margaret Watson of Newbigging, stating that after the Battle of Preston [Prestonpans, East Lothian, against Jacobite rebels] Randall had cared for 'a considerable number of wounded soldiers of the King's Troop', and then continued treating casualties on the battlefield. Dated at Carlisle court [Cumberland].
