Affidavit in favour of [Jacobite] Richard Morison, wig-maker and [Charles Edward Stuart's valet], convicted of High Treason, sworn by Robert Farquhar, of Edinburgh, who stated that he was taken prisoner in Inverness [Inverness-shire] while travelling on the business of Earl of Mortoun, and that while in detention never saw [Morrison] with arms or a white cockade. Dated at Carlisle court [Cumberland].
