Affidavit in favour of [Jacobite] Richard Morison, wig-maker and [Charles Edward Stuart's valet], convicted of High Treason, sworn by Alexander White, clerk to William Adams, 'His Majesty's master mason for north Britain', stating that Morrison had told him he was obliged to wear a white cockade to gain access to his customers in Holyrood, where 'the Pretender's son lodged'. Mentions Sir Thomas Shiredan [Sheridan] and Sir Robert Myreton of Gogen [?Gogar]. Dated at Carlisle court [Cumberland].
