Description

Folios 51-52. Affidavit in support of Robert Forbes, a prisoner convicted of High Treason, sworn by David Forbes of Stirlingshire, a divine of the Establish Church of Scotland, stating that Robert repented joining the [Jacobite] rebels, whom he was 'rashly brought into by his friend Lord Pitsligo'. Dated at Carlisle prison [Cumberland].
