Affidavit in favour of Thomas Park, a prisoner who pleaded guilty of High Treason at Carlisle [Cumberland], sworn by Jonathan Park a cordwainer, and Benjamin Barlow a packer, both of Manchester [Lancashire], who outlined who [Jacobite] rebels had taken Thomas prisoner after breaking into their house. Reference to the incomprehensibility of the Highland language. Dated at Carlisle.
