Folio 81-82. John Sharpe to Thomas Ramsden, seeking clarification on points raised by Captain [Stratford] Eyre in respect of prisoners at Tilbury [Fort, Essex] facing transportation. Should lots be drawn for prisoners newly arrived from Scotland, and not yet examined? Also, Sharpe requests Newcastle sign warrants allowing witnesses to be sent from Tilbury to assist in imminent trials at St Margaret's Hill [Southwark, Surrey], since Scottish witnesses not arrived.
