Folio 46. 'Copy of Mr Campbell's case' concerning David Campbell of Kethick, a prisoner in Carlisle [Cumberland], who is seeking trial. At the best of villagers of Brampton [Cumberland], where he resided, Campbell had corresponded with the [Jacobite] governor of Carlisle, [John] Hamilton. Document referred to in a letter from [Philip Carteret] Webb to [John] Sharp of 4 September 1746.
