Folios 32-33. Declaration made by David Robertson, servant of Sir James Kinloch [Nevay] of Kinloch, stating that three armed men had taken Sir James's brothers Alexander and Charles Kinloch during the night. After being sent to find them, Robertson stated they were detained in Crief [Crieff, Perthshire]. A horse belonging to James Ramsay of Dundee [Angus], was also taken from the house of James Shids [?Shiels] of Chappletown. Attested by Alexander Gibb [signs Gib], David Ross the gardener at Kinloch, and verified by Sherriff Prin [principal?] of Forfar [Angus] Gray, and justice Alexander Duncan of?Lundie.
