Gives details of Capt [Captain] Monro of Culcairn [?] being shot while leading a party in pursuit of [?Archibald McDonald of] Barisdale in Cameron country. Relays information, from Mr Ganrey's [?] servant, on health of [Earl of] Cromartie's children. Dated at Inverness [Inverness-shire].
