To: The Home Secretary.
From: W Farnfield, The Woolwich Local Board of Health, Solicitor's Department, Parson's Hill, Woolwich [Kent].
Subject Matter: Letter enclosing regulations under the Sanitary Act 1866 [Not in item] which were approved by the Home Secretary in June 1867, and upon which the authorities have been acting since that time. Farnfield notes that the seal of the Home Secretary was never affixed to the regulations, and, in view of the numbers of legal proceedings having to be taken, requests that it is now affixed to the enclosed copy.
