To: The Home Secretary.
From: Robert Morgan, Superintending Inspector, The Local Government Act Office.
Subject Matter: Report upon an inquiry in pursuance of a petition from the Local Board of Health for the District of Woolwich [Kent] for powers, under the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845, to enable them to purchase land otherwise than by agreement for certain street improvements. Morgan recommends that a Provisional Order is granted to the Woolwich Local Board of Health, giving them powers to put in force the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845 with reference to the purchase of the lands or premises referred to in their petition.
