To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: Andrew C Reed, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Woolwich [Kent].
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 11 March 1863, relative to the Woolwich Local Board of Health's application for sanction to borrow £7000, for the purpose of paving the footpaths throughout the Parish of Woolwich. Reed encloses certain particulars relative to such application, including detailed estimates of costs and a statement of the population and rateable value of the district, with the amounts borrowed under the separate heads of expenditure and the sums repaid.
