To: The Home Secretary.
From: Arnold Taylor, Superintending Inspector, Local Government Act Office.
Subject Matter: Report on two Inquiries held at South Cave on the memorial from the owners and ratepayers praying for the settlement of boundaries of the district of Wallingfen. Taylor recommends that an order be made to settle the boundaries of the district in accordance with the enclosed annexed plans and written description. He further recommends that Mr James Ramsdaile Smith, farmer of Holme [York] be appointed to act as Summoning Officer, and in the case of illness or inability to discharge his duties that Mr John Rudd, farmer of Bromfleet, near South Cave [Yorkshire] be appointed instead.
