To: The Home Secretary.
From: Arnold Taylor, Superintending Inspector, The Local Government Act Office.
Subject Matter: Report on an Inquiry into the proposed district boundaries for Wallingfen for the purpose of adopting the Local Government Act 1858. Taylor concludes that the restricted boundaries have ben prepared for a further inquiry and asks that the original petition be returned and to strike out all the names of those who as owners and ratepayers only in the parts of the final district which are now proposed to be excluded, are no longer qualified to petition for the settlement of the boundaries of the smaller district, which it is now proposed to settle under section 16 of the Local Government Act.
