To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: Burland Son and Petch, South Cave, Brough [Yorkshire].
Subject Matter: Letter enclosing a petition from the ratepayers praying that an inspector will be sent with the view to adopting the Local Government Act 1858. They confirm that also included is a portion of the ordnance map of the district [not in item], and add that the chief object of this petition is to obtain roads for Wallingfen.
