From: T Somerville Jones, Clerk of the Wallasey Local Board, Public Offices, Egremont, Birkenhead [Cheshire].
Subject Matter: Letter enclosing, with reference to the District Auditor's third surcharge against a member of the Wallasey Local Board (Mr Boyd), 'bills as taxed at the sum of £253 15s 1½d [Not in item], which with Counsel's fees - £25 19s 0d, as per statements also sent herewith [Not in item] - amount to £504 14s 1½d'.
