To: The Home Secretary.
From: Thomas Davenport, Secretary of the Poulton-cum-Seacombe Ratepayers Association, Seacombe [Cheshire].
Subject Matter: Letter enquiring whether the Wallasey Local Board can give notice of their intention to levy a General District Rate before their accounts for the last year have been examined and signed as correct by the Auditor. Davenport further enquires whether the Board can include in such General District Rate, what they anticipate to be, the loss for the present year in working the ferries.
