Subject Matter: Minute on a letter from Messrs Gray, Johnston and Mounsey, Solicitors, dated 26 May 1870. The Home Secretary is said to think that Mr Askew should be heard in opposition to the scheme, and that the Sewer Authority for Ulverston [Lancashire] ought to be told to consider the Home Secretary's sanction as withheld until Askew has had an opportunity of stating his objections.
