Interrogatories to be put to, and deposition of, Thomas Cobbe, late deputy customer of Clay in Norfolk. The case was George Whelplaye v Henry Smythe (Smith) of Barningham, Norfolk, and John Wellys, and concerned the export of grain. The deposition was dated 30 April 36 Henry VIII (1544), but the alleged offence occurred around the 18 December 1543.
