Thirteen depositions to interrogatories on the part of James Whiteacres (or Whitacre) parish priest of St Benet Finke, London, and John Reson, Rason or Rasyn, clerk, chaplain of the church, in the case Whitacres v John A Wode, sergeant of the mayor, and George Wing for an affray in St Benet's churchyard. The fight allegedly broke out when the mayor's officers accused the priests of loitering for wenches. Both priests were badly beaten and locked in the counter.
