Interrogatories put to John Gosling of Aldborough in Suffolk, and his deposition, dated 4 May 32 (Henry VIII). The case is marked in a contemporary hand as Willet v Gosling, and concerned the seizure of merchandise and victuals from a French ship, which were then stored until the king's council had determined the legitimacy of the seizure. The house was broken and goods removed.
