An original sub poena letter under the privy seal in £100, requiring the appearance of Thomas Midwinter before the council. The letter is endorsed with the date of appearance of 24 February 6 (Henry VIII). The plaintiff is named as John Lyntorne. The case is almost certainly REQ 2/6/23, Lynterne v Midwynter, concerning lands and tenements in Oldfirld and Stone, Somerset.
