Folio 154. Cover sheet endorsed 'Morgan's Papers', [in respect of documents taken from Jacobite prisoner David Morgan, signed by Judd or Jude Storer and John Parry, and initialled RS.] Filed with:

1.Folio 155. Small document, text in full: 'The King apts David Edwards, John Stewart, James Power, Wm [William] Power Retained & Debts The King apts'.

2. Folio 156. Poem containing the line 'Roll on invasion time, make haste'.

3. Folio 157. Poem extolling the virtues of ancient Greece.

4. Folio 158. Brief note from Beckington to Mrs Pope, mentioning Mrs Morgan.

5. Folio 159. The account of Margaret Morgan for money laid out to her landlord totalling £2.2.0.

6. Folio 160-161. Two poems.

7. Folio 162. Small note with full text reading: 'Ann Edmunds widdow of Thomas Wm [William] of Perth [Perthshire] ycleision[?] Cecil Thomas widdow of Lewis Wm [William] of Geleigare of Penlinoy'.

8. Folio 163-164. Thos [Thomas] St John to Counsellor Morgan at Monmouth [Monmouthshire], expressing surprise that his recommendation had been ignored, and seeking the information he needs from Morgan before he can reply to 'the Gentleman in the country'.

9. Folios 165-166. Dad [David] Morgan [to William Vaughan's brother] stating that 'what you told your Uncle Jones & Jack Jones of me and that infamous bitch is a damned lye', mentioning a meeting with his correspondent at Courtfield [Herefordshire]. Dated 6 March [1745] at Lanarth [Cornwall?].

10. Folio 167. Poem mentioning [William] Congreve and 'Pinky' [actor William Pinkethman?], concluding with the line 'Mathews prevailed though Lostock would not fight'. Reverse is endorsed 'Rid [Richard] Herrings for Mrs Gwynne of Taliaris [Carmarthenshire] Tea for Mr Lewis of Gelldowill [Gellidywyll, Montgomeryshire] Living for Cons Prothers'.

11. Folios 168-169. Poem praising Vauxhall [pleasure gardens, Surrey] compared with Kew Gardens [Surrey] and Rome's Ridottos [Italy]. Endorsement on reverse refers to a plan to 'add some part of the Russian Dominions in Hanover An alliance proposed between Hungry, Great Britain, Holland, Hanover, Saxony & Muscovy'

12. Folio 170. Small note with endorsements including 'Mr Wally's in Millgate Street' and 'George Wm [William] George of Kevan'.

13. Folio 171. Aide memoire mentioning Mrs Baker, Mr Farrant, McBeth, Mr Cremer, Mrs Mary Flaxman, Thomas James, and the need to 'get my red wastecoat taken in'.

14. Folio 172. Receipt for £32.6.0 paid in court by Tho [Thomas] St John to Lewis Saunders agt [agent for?] Da Morgan, signed by Tho [Thomas] Lloyd, and dated 11 June 1745.

15. Folio 173. Account for £34.19.0 rent due 'Right Honourable Wm [William] Lord Talbot from the Administration of Mr Wm [William] Morgan deceased for house and lands in and about the town of Lantrisuent' [Llantrisant, Glamorgan?], plus £7 realised from sale of horses. Dated 25 April 1740.

16. Folio 174. 'Mr Morgan's Bill' for £12.2.1 for lodging 16 August 1743 to 5 March 1744.

17. Folio 175. Drinks bill for £2.11.1.

18. Folio 176. Newspaper bill £1.12.5½ to Robert David for 1743 to 1744.

19. Folio 177. Account of Lewis Saunders agt [agent for?] David Morgan for Easter 1744 covering a debt, a writ, fees, bond and a Mr Adams.

20. Folio 178-179. Beaufort [to unknown] concerning his 'deputation' as gamekeeper in the Manor of Ragland' [Raglan, Rhagland, Montmouthsire], dated 11 March 1744.

21. Folio 180. Dad [David] Morgan to William and Elizabeth Basset notifying them that he'd impounded their crop and livestock against rent arrears, mentioning 'a field called The Green Both'. Dated 6 August 1744.

22. Folio 181. Morgan's legal opinion concerning a deed of partition in respect of two pieces of land in Kilvach [?], between John and Mary Lloyd, and Hector and Joyce Jones, dated 12 September 1744.

23. Folio 182. Sam [Samuel] Farrant [to unknown] saying that a money shortage in 'this metropolis' meant he'd received no rent from the recipient's tenants on account of the 'wicked and unnatural [Jacobite] rebellion in the north'. Dated 11 October 1745.

24. Folio 183. Account for horse-keeping to Joseph Barber.

25. Folio 184-185. Willm [William] Vaughan [to Morgan] concerning the recipient's letter to his brother in which 'you very gently call me a liar' concerning 'ye affair of ye infamous bitch'.

26. Folio 186. Account for newspapers 1743 to 1744 for £2.13.7½.

27. Folio 187-188. Account of cash received and wages for John Maddocks 1740 to 1745.

28. Folio 189-190. Nichs [Nicholas] Price to David Morgan at Forrest's Coffee House, Charing Cross, London, [Middlesex], seeking a place for his son in the Customs House, and relating that David Howel seeks advice on whether an 'occupier is obliged to pay taxes toward bells in another parish'. Cover signed by Fred? Tyner. Dated at Porsett [Porset, Caerphilly, Glamorgan?], 30 April 1745.

29. Folio 191. Thos [Thomas] Freeman to Mr Morgan, Uske In [Inn], Monmouthshire, concerning rum and orange juice. Dated 2 November 1745.
